Company History

One of my hobbies around 10 to 12 years ago was editing peoples holiday snaps and video footage to VHS Videotape and then onto DVD.  I progressed later to producing work for a local photographic studio which in turn led to the birth of Shattered Glass Productions.

My name is John Hewins, and under my new found company I filmed and produced weddings, family gatherings and corporate events.  As a Master Member of The Guild of Professional Videographers I was honoured to win two coveted Guild titles.  My first Guild title in 2006 for ‘Best Corporate Video’, and my second in 2007 for ‘Best Wedding Video’.

On the 1^st April 2009 Shattered Glass Productions ceased trading to make way for a more marketable company.  Our new production company called ‘Telford Multimedia Limited,’ is run by the same family members offering help and advice whenever you need it and still faithful to the motto, “Turning events into memories…’

Our professional service now includes ‘Mobile disco, Mobile karaoke, Personal event & corporate video productions.’  In the near future we are planning to introduce ‘Contact information for live bands and Live-band PA support.’  To help our service’s run more efficiently and to make it easier for our clients, we have bought into play subsidiary business names to compliment the type of services we provide.

Telford Video Services…  As company videographer I pride myself on creating exciting, refreshing and moving productions that reflect your occasion in a professional and polished manner, and so turning your event into a cherished memory.

People and places are discretely visited to lay down the foundation for capturing your day, and only quality digital media is purchased to record and save the event. I plan the filming of your day right down to the last picture frame so you can be assured of a high standard of proficiency and discretion at all times.

Telford Karaoke & Disco…  My son Christopher came into Telford Multimedia Limited as DJ/Director ‘Chris J.’  Chris’s love of music goes back to his early childhood and so it was only a matter of time he would follow in the footsteps of his uncle and mentor, top Wolverhampton DJ ‘Gary Starr.’

Now at the age of 29 Chris provides music for all occasions, ages and venues.  From classics of the 50’s through to modern day club, dance and R & B.  Chris will keep your feet tapping long after the venue has ended.

Other Family Members…  My wife ‘Bev’ still delivers quality production photographs to be included in our video productions.  Her keen eye for detail is a huge asset on a busy filming day.

Our daughter ‘Leandra’ is our second videographer.  Strong enough to take lead camera when needed, and versatile enough to blend into the background when total discretion is called for.

When not performing his roll as DJ, ‘Chris’ provides backup to step in as videographer or production photographer when needed.

As a family team we are flexible and approachable.  We are respectful of others and able to flow with any unexpected changes on the day.  Discretion is a team effort and on a film day you will hardly notice we are there.
